Carla is a trained neuro educator and has spent most of the past 15 years educating parents of newborns and young children about the correlation of early movement, sensory integration and later learning.

It is unfortunate that there is increased incidence of Sensory Processing disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia and Spectrum disorders diagnosed in essentially bright children.  Many educators and professionals working in this field are reluctant to explore the relationship of neuro physiological obstacles and their effects on learning in a school aged child.  All children should follow a predictable element of development, the relationship between movement and learning is slowly beginning to be explored and it is now common place to see PMP programs and other brain exercise routines incorporated into the classroom setting.  All of this is positive but it is still only the tip of the iceberg for many underachieving children and their families.
